Plus like I said, Shreddage doesn't let you use the whammy bar effect, and every single other program does. In this case the more samples = more realistic guitar possibilities because it has more variations of guitar effects and squeels. It's almost as bad as the people that just assume if something costs an arm and a leg that it must be the best out there. I'm not saying Electricity is bad, but too many people judge sample packs/VSTs by their size instead of by what they sound like. But if they have another buy one get one free deal like a while back then its alright to grab as your second library. I really don't recommend getting Ministry of Rock. Thus the truth be told, each instrument really isn't nearly as realistic as it would have been if they simply gave you 20 gigs of like 2 electrics and a bass guitar. Plus all the electrics have multiple options in terms of clean or amped.

It is a 20 gig pack, but that spread out over a number of drum kits, bass guitars, acoustics, and electric guitars. On top of that, the samples are very limited. It just feal right to me, and doesn't sound completely realistic either. Definitely not worth the money in my opinion. I'm super happy I got it free, because I would have myself if I spent nearly $400 on it. I've been using Ministry of Rock for a month or two now. Has anyone used any of those listed, and if so did you get good results? I've always thought Shreddage looked really kick-ass.
